HP ProBook 400 G4  – Design and Specifications:

All the five models share a similar design with a silver-colored, lightweight chassis and HP’s logo on the lid. Speaking of durability, these notebooks are MIL-STD 810G tested for endurance against shocks, drops, high temperatures and vibrations. The ProBook 470 features a 17-inch screen while the 455 and 450 come with 15.6-inch panels. However, we found the ProBook 430’s 13.3-inch display to be the best option for most business users. At 3.28 pounds, it feels so light to carry around. Also, you have the option to choose any of the above models with a full-HD screen.

All the models except the 455 G4 are powered by Intel’s Kaby Lake CPU’s, the newest offering from the company. So, the processing speed will undoubtedly be at its best, especially if you opt for a Core-i5 or a Core-i7 processor. All the models support a maximum RAM of 16GB, which should be plenty for multitasking. If you are okay with an AMD processor, go for the 455 G4 model which is also priced way below the other models.

Security is the primary reason for buying a business series laptop. HP ensured that you have root-level protection through BIOSphere. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) security chip which is embedded in the laptops protects your data from various threats by encrypting it. There is also a fingerprint reader for those users who need to a biometric login.

HP ProBook 400 G4 – Connectivity and Audi Quality:

Just like any modern notebook, the new HP ProBook 400 G4 is equipped with USB-C ports, so now you can charge phones in addition to syncing and data transfer. For true docking experience, we recommend you to use the HP Elite USB-C docking station. Kudos to HP for including the Type-C USB port as the number of USB-C peripherals is steadily increasing. All the other ports are same as the ones found in the ProBook 400 G3 series.

Thanks to HP’s Audio Boost Technology, the voice quality is enhanced by increasing the loudness and bass of the speakers. The bi-directional noise suppression feature reduces the background noise on both ends of the line, while on a video conference. Also, there is an embedded feature to detect movies, music, or voice and adjust the audio settings accordingly.
