Lenovo IdeaPad 110S Hardware, Performance

The designed perfectly and priced cheaply Lenovo IdeaPad 110S strikes the chord right. It is a perfect entry level laptop which can either be a secondary laptop to a working person or the primary laptop to a school going student. Although it cannot compete with the high-end laptops, yet it can be a good laptop for normal usages. It is one of the best entry level laptops available for home users and students. The Lenovo is also offering a one-year subscription to Office 365 for free which is in itself a good value for the money.

Lenovo IdeaPad 110S – Design and Hardware:

The Lenovo IdeaPad 110S is completely made from plastic. Design wise it sports a plain and minimalistic design and perhaps no other laptop has such plain design. It looks exactly like the old MacBook model. A thick bezel surrounds the display, and the plastic chassis is not as bad as it sounds.

The 11.6-inch display comes with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels which is good enough given its price range and other specifications. It is suitable for normal viewing experiences. The keyboard has a perfect island-style design and a metallic power button which is the only stylish part of this otherwise insipid laptop. The keyboard is good for only normal users as it breaks down easily when pressed forcefully. The touchpad is also good enough to navigate through the windows; it also comes with two-finger scroll and a pinch zoom in and out.

Connectivity wise it has an adequate amount of options. It has single USB 3.0 port, an HDMI output port, an audio jack and a microSD card slot. It also has a couple of USB 2.0 ports.
